Hit and Run Crash in Canoga Park Sends 4 Patients to Hospital. At 10:50pm on 10-15-24 the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Parthenia and Independence in Canoga Park. Paramedics arrived on scene to find two vehicles involved in a crash. Paramedics heard gun shots and the called was quickly upgraded to an LAFD requesting LAPD for back up. Officers from Devenshire and Topanga division responded. They were unable to find the shooter or any suspects that fired off rounds. They did find a suspect who had fled the scene that was found down the street from the accident. One suspect was released but a second suspect was taken into custody who had an ankle monitor on. LAFD transported 4 patients to Northridge Hospital for injures which included a female, child and 2 males. LAPD traffic division is investigating the incident.
