5 Acre Brush Fire in Chatsworth Nature Preserve

CONTAINED Brush Fire; INC#1323; 05:11PM; 8911 N Moorcroft Av; https://bit.ly/3QeB5rz; #WestHills; It took 72 firefighters, by ground and air, approximately 90 minutes to extinguish the 5-acre fire burning near the west end of Nordhoff (west of Topanga). Crews have containment lines surrounding the fire and will remain on scene for “mop up” (eliminating all hot spots and smoldering material within the burn). No structures damaged. No injuries. Cause under investigation.
