On 2-5-24 at 6:53pm LAFD received a report of a sink hole in the middle of the street at 12629 Riverside Dr. Units arrived to find a large pothole in the middle of the street. Vehicles were parked on the side of the road a few hundred feet from the road hazard with blown out tires. Over 19+ vehicles were damaged with multiple flat tires. A driver of a damaged vehicle told me that there had been even more cars damaged but they had been towed away or had repaired the flat tires themselves before leaving. LAPD was onscene directing traffic.
