At approximately 10pm on 1/30/24 LAFD and LAPD Topanga responded to the intersection of 6956 Platt Ave near Highlander to an overturned pick up truck. They found an overturned black Chevy pickup truck on its side. According to the driver of the truck, he was driving eastbound on Platt when his vehicle hydroplaned and he lost control hitting the curb and flipped his vehicle and skidded to a stop. He hit a cement street pole which was was knocked down and had live electrical wires exposed. The driver sustained no injuries, and denied transport via LAFD. LAPD Topanga and LAPD traffic division are on scene investigating the accident.
