At approximately 8:37 PM LAPD received a call for a burglary in progress at the residence of 8500 block of Valerie in Woodland Hills. The homeowners saw multiple suspects inside their home via their security cameras. They quickly called 911 and units arrived and the home but were unable to find the suspects. A neighbor who is walking their dog, saw multiple suspects, run out and jump into a gray Ford Explorer. Another neighbor mentioned that they had noticed the same great explorer two weeks prior casing in the area. They had captured it on their security cameras. They were able to give that information to the police officers, hoping that these suspects would be caught. The homeowner mentioned that they had seen the suspects talking on handheld walkie-talkies to each other to keep in contact during the burglary. The homeowners found smashed siding glass doors at the rear of the home. The neighbors in the area are frustrated that their homes are constantly getting broken into.
