House Fire In Simi Valley

At 7:58pm Ventura County fire department arrived on scene to find a 1 story single family dwelling with smoke and fire showing and possible explosions along with wires down. The fire seemed to have started from a vehicle fire that spread to the house. Additionally, due to the close proximity of other houses, additional resources were called into protect the fire from spreading. One male in his 50s suffered burns and smoke in election while trying to extinguish the fire and is being assessed by Ventura County paramedics.
