Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for residents in the Castaic Lake area due to the immediate threat posed by the fire. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is assisting with evacuations and road closures to ensure public safety. Currently, no injuries have been reported, and no structures are immediately threatened in the predominantly rural and mountainous burn zone.
