Suspect arrested after pursuit in the San Fernando Valley. LAPD was following a gta suspect headed WB on Ventura Blvd passing Tampa. A pursuit was initiated for GTA and the suspect pulled into a Target parking lot off De Soto in an attempt to elude police. The suspect continued on throughout the valley and ended up driving all through l Calabasas and the Topanga Canyon area. The vehicle turned into a mobile home park off of Topanga Canyon and ditched the vehicle on Willow St. The suspect was last seen heading southbound through a neighbors yard. LAPD Topanga Div. has a perimeter set up and is actively searching for the suspect. The suspect was found inbetween some trailer park homes in the perimeter. K9 dogs found the suspects backpack and jacket near where he ran from the vehicle and were able to track him and found him minutes later. He had a belt around his head. The suspect was transported via Mcormick ambulance to the hospital due to an altered state.
