LAFD Firefighters responded to the intersection of Valley Circle and Highlander in West Hills to a traffic collision with vehicles blocking the road. When they arrived on scene they found an elderly man trapped in the drivers seat with his small white dog. Fire Fighters were able to quickly pop the door open and safely rescue the trapped patient along with the dog. The elderly man was checked out by paramedics and was transported to a local hospital for injuries.
