At approximately 10pm a 36 year old male who was armed with an assault rifle in the street has barricaded himself in an apartment building in Reseda at Wilbur and Archwood. Upon LAPD arrival, they observed the man run from the street to an apartment building holding the rifle and barricading himself. LAPD has set up a full containment of the area and is currently working on a plan to take the man into custody. LAPD Swat was dispatched and arrived on scene with K-9 units. They were able to safely take the suspect into custody and arrest him.
