At 1:27am on 6-8-24 LAPD Topanga Division responded to multiple 911 calls at the intersection of Owensmouth and Oxnard to a shooting in progress. A group of suspects were heard fighting outside the hotel when a suspect pulled out a semi automatic firearm and shot 3 rounds off at a red tesla. Three black male suspects were seen fleeing on foot running towards the abandoned AMC theatre across the street. Shell casings were found in the street in front of the hotel. Lapd received another call for a suspect that was injured a mile away at an apartment complex, but declined to be transported via an ambulance. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
