Shortly after 6 PM a lost hiker called 911 as he wandered off course and could not get back to the trail. LAFD dispatched a full rescue operation where a medic was hoisted down to the patients location and with the assistance of ground crews there were able to guide him back to the trailhead and perform a medical assessment. He was hiking at El Escorpian Park in West Hills when he got lost.
