Yesterday at approximately 4:30 pm CHP west valley was in pursuit of a white BMW for speeding on the freeway and failing to stop. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Colin Andrew Brath, 18 of Malibu Ca. The driver of the vehicle fled and was chased through several Malibu streets before CHP tried to spin his car out with a pit maneuver. The driver crashed his vehicle into a parked truck, concrete mailbox and portapotty on the block of 29800 Cuthbert Road, west of Busch Drive in Malibu. The driver was arrested and booked at lost hills jail. The Vehicle also matched the description of another vehicle that had been causing problems previously in the Malibu area.
