Approximately 5:15 PM 911 dispatch received a call for a man with a gun firing off rounds in the apartment complex at Burbank and Topanga. LAPD Topanga division responded to the call and heard from the person who called that there was possibly a suspect on the third floor. LAPD cleared the area and set up a perimeter so that they would be able to contain the suspect. Officers formed teams and went in to find the suspect. They took two individuals in the custody. They searched the rest of the complex along with the parking lot in the rear of the property. They were unable to find any casings or signs of shots fired. Other people in the apartment complex also heard multiple loud noises in the area. LAPD is investigating this incident.
