On March 13 at around 6 PM LAFD received a call for an injured hiker at El Escorpion Park in West Hills. The hiker was in his 30s and was injured while hiking and another hiker called in to report what it happened and to get the guy help. LAFD responded and also had air ops assist in the search for the injured hiker. They searched for approximately 30 minutes for the hiker, but were unable to find them. The hiker must have made his way down on his own.
