Truck Hits Hydrant in West Hills Platt and Vanowen

At approximately 5 PM a traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Platt and Vanowen. A truck collided with a hydrant resulting in the hydrant breaking off flooding the intersection. The driver, the vehicle remained inside his truck and denied medical care. Los Angeles city fire department worked to shut off the fire hydrant.
